Endurance Coaching Fitness Training

Training Groups: Autumn/Winter 2009-2010

Expert athletes know you achieve far more when you train with others, and  under the watchful eye of a coach. STtrainer Training Groups provide a great value to fit your coaching budget.  We offer personalized attention, high quality workouts, and motivational accountability.  Group camaraderie supports and challenges you.  For one low price you can attend multiple workouts per week.

AUTUMN/WINTER: Because your training should change over time (called "periodization"), the next few months will have a special focus.  We will emphasize strength/stretch training for endurance athletes.  Begin now to set the stage for your best season ever.  We will also offer the chance to specialize in swimming (2-3 workouts weekly) and running (2-3 workouts weekly.)  Cycling emphasis will resume in Nov-Dec.

Yes it's true, you can attend any of these sessions (over 10 sessions per week) for only $25/week!

Descriptions of all the classes:

AB LAB: 45 minute session focusing on core strength, abdominals, obliques, lumbar, and gluteals.

Runners' Cross Training: Strength and Stretch training session for runners and triathletes which you can simulate at home.  Utilizes stability ball, straps, and body weight (no machines or weights.)

Urban Adventure Run and Urban Strength: Utilizing the interesting features of the urban environment, this workout allows you to build a base while keeping your run interesting.  You will run over-, around-, and under unexpected obstacles.  Skills of power and balance will be tested.  This is the next best thing to a trail run.

Strength/Stretch: It is that time of year, build and tone muscle, prevent injury, and regain balance within the body.  Utilizes machines and free weights.

Fundamentals of Swimming: This is a chance to improve your swim technique without having to focus on extensive conditioning or triathlon training.  A smart focus if you need work on your swim abilities.

Aerogility: Explosive and highly coordinated drills that are perfect for anyone desiring an intense workout.  Includes box jumps, medicine balls, plyometrics, stretch cords, walking and running drills.  One of my favorite classes to teach because I am exhausted afterwards.

Hydro/Plyo: Words cannot describe.  You must experience it if you think you are prepared.
